Colonel Douglas R Cochran.

Doug grew up in Maryland, is an Eagle Scout and received his Air Force commission through the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps from the University of Maryland, College Park, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Law Enforcement in 1977. He has Master’s Degrees in both Business Administration and in National Security and Strategic Studies. After retiring as a Colonel from the Air Force in 2007, Doug was the Director of Career Services at Oregon State University until moving to South Carolina in 2013. He and his wife, Resa, have enjoyed living close to their daughter, son-in-law and four grandchildren. Their son, also in the USAF, his wife and children currently live near his work at the Pentagon. Doug has been a member of the Columbia Rotary Club since 2014.
