For our meeting Monday May 3rd 2021 we welcome Marti Colucci, the Managing Director of Leeza’s Care Connection.

Marti joined the Leeza’s Care Connection team in May of 2015. She was instrumental in opening the free community center for caregivers in July of 2016. She is a native of Irmo, SC and graduated from Irmo High School just like Leeza. She attended Union UMC and became a Stephen Minister at the tender age of 16 years old. She believes everyone needs a chance to be heard, especially when going through troubled times. She received a bachelor’s degree from the College of Charleston in Business Administration and has been privileged to raise her children, work for several small businesses and in the Hospice industry devoting herself to caregivers, volunteers and those in need of a hug or an ear to listen.

She is a Certified Business Coach, Dementia Specialist and Powerful Tools for Caregivers trainer. She is a member of the Senior Care Professionals of the Midlands, Lexington Network of Female Executives, and the SC Healthy Brain Research Network. Marti is active in her local church serving alongside her husband, Billy. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, helping others, and home projects.
