Carl Blackstone, President & CEO, Columbia Chamber. 

Carl Blackstone has a deep knowledge of working with small and large businesses, as well as professional trade associations on local, state and federal levels.

Carl has served as the former manager of state government relations for the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce and as district field manager for Mark Sanford when he served in the U.S. House of Representatives, in addition to other community roles. Currently, he serves on the boards of the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives and the South Carolina State Chamber of Commerce.

As President and CEO of the Columbia Chamber, Carl’s focus is creating a strategy to help make the region more competitive in the next 20 years.
