Jason J. Giulietti, President & CEO of the Central South Carolina Alliance.

Jason J. Giulietti is bringing over 20 years of experience in economic development to his role. His dynamic and strategic leadership has significantly impacted the economic landscape of South Carolina, the fastest growing state in the U.S. Since taking on his current role, Jason has pioneered collaborative efforts among all eight regional economic development organizations in the state, leading to enhanced partnerships between private and public sectors. His leadership has already resulted in $194 million in investments and the creation of 884 jobs within just ten months.

Prior to coming to South Carolina, as President and CEO of the Greater San Marcos Partnership, Jason spearheaded a five-year strategic plan that exceeded expectations, attracting over $5 billion in new capital investments and generating more than 7,500 new jobs. His past roles also include time in Connecticut leading dynamic teams focused on attracting international companies as well as engaging local and domestic companies.

His contributions to economic development were nationally acknowledged when Consultant Connect recognized him as one of the Top 50 Economic Developers in North America both in 2022 and 2018. Additionally, Jason earned recognition from the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) as a member of the 2018-2020 40 under 40 Class, along with leading his previous economic development organization to be recognized as EDO of the year in 2021.

Jason’s approach to economic development is characterized by a relationship-driven model that emphasizes accountability, transparency, and authenticity. This methodology has strengthened the Central South Carolina Alliance’s capacity and effectiveness, earning him recognition as one of Industry Era’s Top 10 Influential Leaders in July 2024 and Top 50 Economic Developers to Watch in 2024-2025 by Southern Business and Development magazine. Jason’s ethical and moral character, coupled with his results-driven approach, underscores his passionate dedication to economic growth and development.

Jason holds a Master of Public Administration degree and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Connecticut.
