Please join us Monday, July 9, 2018 as we welcome Steve Ware Founder and CEO of River’s Edge Retreat.
Steve Ware is married to Kathy Ware. Kathy is a teacher at Lake Murray Elementary School. He is the proud father of five beautiful children: four daughters and one son. Steve attended T.T.U. under a four year basketball scholarship. Steve still enjoys the sport of basketball and is an avid fan of the game.
Steve has served in many positions in his life. He has operated as the CEO and owner of several businesses. These include Dynamic Properties, Young Development Group, CSI Investments, Carolina Mortgage Group, Caliente Clothing Stores, and PAAK JR.
He is currently serving as the CEO of AA Holding Company and River’s Edge Retreat. River’s edge is a nonprofit organization that serves between 400 to 500 children a week in a variety of summer camps that help children achieve a sense of well-being physically, emotionally, academically, and spiritually.
He is presently serving on numerous boards, one of which is the United States Global Leadership Coalition based out of Washington, DC. In addition, he has also been featured in several magazine articles including recent articles in “Giving” and “SC Living”.
Steve gave his life over to Christ in 2012 and now does motivational speaking at churches, schools, business groups, conferences and many other settings where he shares his testimony about what he has learned in his life without God and what he is learning in his new walk WITH God!
