On Monday we welcome Curtis Frye as our speaker. Entering the 2016 track season in his 20th year as head track & field and cross country coach at South Carolina, Curtis Frye has established a program that is regarded as one of the nation’s elite. Frye has coached or overseen over 60 NCAA champions, 116 SEC champions, 14 Academic All-Americans and more than 450 NCAA All-Americans.
This past summer he was named to the Team USA men’s coaching staff for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Frye served as an assistant, overseeing the sprint and hurdle events.
Never one to sit on the sidelines, Frye established the Frye Foundation after his family was devastated by diabetes. The foundation is dedicated to assisting those dealing with diabetes and mental illness. Each year, they host a 5K run/walk as well as a golf tournament and silent auction.
Our Meeting from Monday, September 19 is Now Available Online!
