For our meeting Monday Sept 28th 2020 we welcome Kim Jamieson from Columbia Metropolitan Airport. 

As Director of Marketing and Air Service Development, Jamieson will be tasked with setting, managing and executing the overall strategic marketing direction for the airport, while also working to proactively increase air service to the airport. Jamieson was most recently the Public Relations Manager at the South Carolina Department of Parks, Recreation & Tourism (Discover South Carolina). While in that role, Jamieson oversaw both domestic and international media relations, managed the award-winning South Carolina Chef Ambassador program and spearheaded numerous events for statewide tourism partners.

A Greenville native, Jamieson attended the University of South Carolina, where she earned a B.A. in public relations and a Masters in Mass Communications with a concentration in Integrated Marketing Communications. She currently serves on the national Public Relations Society of America Travel & Tourism executive board and is a Board of Trustee member for Historic Columbia. A graduate of Leadership Columbia (class of 2014) and Leadership South Carolina (2015), Jamieson was also named an “Outstanding Young Alumni” by the University of South Carolina School of Journalism and Mass Communications in 2016.
